La Stigmatisation est un phénomène global auquel sont confrontés toutes les psychiatries du monde. Ce webinaire propose de se centrer sur des contributions francophones récentes. La première présentation évoquera un travail original montrant comment une approche orientée sur le rétablissement peut aider dans cette lutte globale (Dr. Julien Dubreucq). La seconde présentation montrera comment cette lutte se décline dans un pays francophone relevant de la catégorie des pays dont les ressources sont plus limitées (Low An Middle Income Countries) (Prof. Uta Ouali). Ces interventions seront discutées par le Prof. Michel Botbol et le Dr. Amine Larnaout qui, par leur engagement dans la gouvernance de la WPA, sont directement impliqués dans la lutte contre ce défi mondial.

Stigmatization is a global phenomenon that tackles psychiatrists all over the world. This webinar will focus on contributions from French-speaking countries. The first one will present a recent work showing how a recovery-oriented approach could help in this global stake (Dr. Julien Dubreucq). The second will show how fighting against stigmatization is developed in a French-speaking low and middle-income country (Prof. Uta Oual). These interventions will be discussed by Prof. Michel Botbol and Dr. Amine Larnouat who are both, as WPA officers, involved in this global issue.
