In mental health care, incorporating into daily practice the vision of inclusion, empowerment and non-stigmatization, nor discrimination towards people who are treated due to their mental health conditions enhances their recovery and development as citizens in their lives. In mental health services, human rights are present at every step of the process; empathy, good communication, accurate information, and respect for the dignity of those who need help, is implicit in good mental health care. But Human Rights still are violated and must be intensified, promoted and guaranteed.
In this webinar we will approach it in a practical way from different perspectives, first hand:
- a person with lived experience,
- a family member and
- a psychiatrist.
